Michael was born in 1958 in Barberton, Ohio and Pam two years later in Cleveland, Ohio. Meeting in 1975, they eventually married in 1990. They have 3 children.

Michael and Pam discovered the truth of salvation by reading the Bible and trusted Christ in 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio. Michael was called to full-time ministry in 1999 at Gospel Light Baptist Missions, India while serving as a short term missionary from Open Door Baptist Church in Clermont, Florida.

Michael is a graduate of Andersonville Theological (Baptist) Seminary in Camilla, Georgia with Master (2003) and Doctorate (2008) of Christian Education degrees. Pam also graduated from Andersonville with a Bachelor of Christian Education Degree in 2004. Michael and Pam have also been trained in Biblical counseling (NANC).

Michael has served for nine years as a senior pastor of churches in both Minnesota and Ohio. He was ordained at Heritage Baptist Bible Church in Walnut Grove, Minnesota. Pam has devoted her time to homeschool and Christian day school ministry and counseling and teaching women. She has also been instrumental to the success of the church music ministry.

In January of 2009 Michael and Pam relocated to the Jackson community where not long after they became members of First Baptist Church of Jackson (FBCJ). Responding to God's call in June of 2009, Michael and Pam relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico. While there, they determined there was a need for a Bible believing, Bible preaching, Disciple-making, Praying, Baptist church. After communicating the same back to their home church at FBCJ they were commissioned in December of 2009 to plant a church following the Biblical pattern used to plant FBCJ (preaching, teaching, discipleship).
